La Cañada golf Club is located in the heart of the Costa del Sol within the Sotogrande residential area nestled between the sea and the mountains and surrounded by a marvellous countryside. La Cañada a first class golf of 18 holes course was inaugurated in 1982. The first nine were designed by David Thomas and the second by Robert Trend Jones Senior. Challenging fairways, quickly greens, large groves of indigenous trees and a spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea, make up an ideal course for those who want to bask in the sun and enjoy being surrounded by nature. La Cañada has a excellent 250m long driving rage situated on an horizontal area, 2 putting greens and an approach zone. La Cañada is a social club that welcomes annual members and visitors each day of the year with opening hours from 8:00h until 21:00h. Players are accompanied by a pleasant climate and an average temperature of 22ºC during the whole year and more than 300 sunny days. Our course drainage guarantees excellent playing conditions. The traditional sport is combined with junior golf. The La Cañada Golf School with more than 200 pupils is known as the first municipal golf school in Andalucia.
