This 18 hole par 72 course was designed by Cabell Robinson who worked for many years with the famous Robert Trent Jones.
This course of 7,000m is surrounded by a wide range of natural vegetation and each green has been constructed with its own special characteristic.
The 8th hole is a very difficult par 5, with a very tight fairway. Tee shot must be faded to avoid on the left side, long hitters should probably go with a fairway wood from the tee. Second will require great strategy since the lay-up area is surrounded by bunkers that make this hole really beautiful, specially from the clubhouse.
All in all Finca Coutesin is a very fun golf course for amateurs and a super challenge for professionals. When you finish playing the 18 holes, you will notice that you have played all your clubs. Cabel Robinson has done a great joy of balancing the different holes; they all have great variety and very tought holes are compensated with other more affordable ones.
